Wiling to become a part of Chamotte? Whether you’ve already had some experience with pottery or you are completely new to the hobby, this course covers everything you need!

The Introduction Course is designed for those interested in Membership.

The Introductio Month aims to introduce you to the world of ceramics and teach you how to function independently in our pottery studio. You'll gain basic knowledge and skills in your chosen technique—a solid foundation for further skill development in our other workshops.

9 H Course | 2 H Supervised Practice | 230 € | Materials, Tools, Firings incl.

The Course’s estimated value is 900€. It includes total 9 H of course time plus a 2H supervised practice. We’re offering you to participate in this exceptional masterclass for a fraction of it’s value. You need to pay only 230€ as long as you commit to become a Member of Chamotte for at least two consecutive months after the course. The course fee does not include the Membership fees in those following months.

SUPERVISED PRACTICE

Enjoy your first free practice session in the studio with supervision. We'll be there to answer your questions and teach you specific skills for your projects.

The Introduction Course is not meant to create beautiful masterpieces. It is about understanding the whole process of creating a piece, and how to do it the correct way. Be aware that by making mistakes in any step of the process, you can damage the pieces of the other Members (for example during the firing), as well as cause expensive damage to the Studio's materials and equipment. As a Collective we build a community relying on each other. :)

Participants in the Introduction Course commit to joining Chamotte for at least three months (one month of the course + two month of chosen membership) with a one-month notice period.

If you're not sure about joining our community or just want to try it out, consider one of our interesting, no-commitment workshops.

Everything you wanted to know about pottery but were afraid to ask.

Paying the 230€ course fee and taking part in the course is bound with the commitment of remaining a Member of Chamotte for at least two consecutive months directly after the course. Those not committing to become Members need to pay the full 900€ fee. The course fee does not include the Membership fee for the consecutive months.
